4 stages
1. PLANNING:
Preparing for the shoot, deciding on object, thinking about composition, checking when object will be visible in the sky, checking for sunset/sunrise, moonrise/moonset, checking on cloud cover/weather, location scouting, deciding on gear to use, selecting lenses/filters, charging batteries, looking for the right adapters to mount on tripods
2. SHOOTING:
Nailing focus, dialing in the White Balance, setting up composition, deciding on settings, taking test shots.
Shooting light frames, dark frames, bias frames, flat frames for image calibration
3. ORGANIZING:
Transfer pictures to a PC or an external drive, and organize into Lights, Darks, Flats and Bias folders
Delete test shots
4. POST PROCESSING:
Use DSS, PIPP, Registax, Autostakkert, StarStax, Sequator, Photoshop, Astronomy Tools, etc
